The completed application and pre-event form can be emailed to the Director of Facilities and Maintenance or turned in at the district office at 761 1st Avenue, Dawson, GA 39842.
The Terrell County Board of Education is committed to supporting our community by making school facilities available for use by local organizations and associations. In accordance with Board Policy KG, we welcome appropriate facility usage by groups that serve Terrell County, provided such use does not interfere with school-sponsored activities or operations.
School facilities are not available for private individual or family events, such as weddings, funerals, wakes, or family reunions.
Organizations must submit a completed Facility Use Application, which is available online, at the district office, and at each school, at least ten (10) business days prior to the requested use.
Applications must include:
The specific date and time of requested use (single day or portion of a day only).
A designated contact person responsible for compliance with all policy terms.
A signed hold harmless agreement, releasing the Board from any liability related to the use.
Proof of $1 million in liability insurance, if required.
